The Board of Directors of Rebuilding Together Hartford (RTH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Thrall as the Incoming Executive Director. Rebuilding Together Hartford is a nonprofit dedicated to helping low-income homeowners through home renovation and repair. Their vision is safe homes and communities for everyone.
“I am honored to be selected as Rebuilding Together Hartford’s next Executive Director”, states Ms. Thrall. “For the past 25 years, Rebuilding Together Hartford has been helping homeowners stay safe in their homes and age in place. I am looking forward to working with Hartford homeowners, RTH’s Board of Directors, and the many dedicated volunteers to continue repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives in our Capital City.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Sarah to the Rebuilding Together Hartford team and are excited to have her use her experience and knowledge of Hartford nonprofits as Rebuilding Together looks towards its next 25 years of improving homes and communities in Hartford,” shares RTH’s Board Chair, Peter Olson. Outgoing Executive Director Jodie Liddy, who has been at the helm of Rebuilding Together Hartford since 2009, will be leaving at the end of June as she is relocating to the Denver area and will assume the role of the Executive Director of Rebuilding Together’s Metro Denver affiliate.
Prior to her role as Executive Director, Ms. Thrall served as the Development Manager at Junior Achievement of Southwest New England. In addition, she has volunteered for a variety of Greater Hartford nonprofits including the Junior League of Hartford and the Farmington Valley YMCA, and she also serves on the Board of Education for the Town of Granby.
