Thank you for volunteering for National Rebuilding Day on April 25th!! We are excited to help our homeowners make some critical home repairs and improvements that will allow them to stay in their homes and age in place.
As you can imagine, we are in new territory with the coronavirus and I wanted to be sure to keep you updated with how it is impacting us here at Rebuilding Together Hartford. Below is a statement we are sharing with our volunteers, sponsors, and the greater community regarding National Rebuilding Day. We will be reaching out to each homeowner to ensure they are aware of our intentions and to discuss alternate plans should they require them. Thank you in advance for your understanding and flexibility as we navigate this unprecedented situation.
At Rebuilding Together Hartford, the health and safety of our volunteers and the homeowners we serve is our top priority. As such, we are carefully watching the news around COVID-19, or the coronavirus. At this date, we are monitoring guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and at this time we are proceeding with our preparations for National Rebuilding Day on April 25th. We continue to communicate with the City of Hartford Mayor’s office, Rebuilding Together’s National office, and other agencies. We will keep you apprised should any changes be necessary.
